Abstract:
Thegrowthhormoneinhibitor,alsoknownassomatostatin,playsacrucialroleinregulatinggrowthhormonesecretion.Inthispaper,weaimtoprepareaspecificRNAprobetargetingsomatostatintoexploreitspotentialingeneexpressionanalysisanddiseaseresearch.ThepreparationoftheprobeinvolvesthesynthesisofRNAoligonucleotides,labelingwithfluorophores,andoptimizationofhybridizationconditions.PreliminaryresultsdemonstratethesuccessfulapplicationofthegrowthhormoneinhibitorRNAprobeindetectingsomatostatinexpressioninratbraintissuesections.ThesefindingssupportthepromisingpotentialoftheRNAprobeingeneexpressionanalysisandprovideavaluabletoolforinvestigatingsomatostatin-relateddiseases.
1.Introduction:
1.1OverviewofGrowthHormoneInhibitor:
Thegrowthhormoneinhibitor,somatostatin,isapeptidehormonesecretedbyvarioustissuesinthebody,primarilythehypothalamusandthepancreas.Itexertsinhibitoryeffectsonthesecretionofgrowthhormone,insulin,andglucagon,regulatingawiderangeofphysiologicalprocesses.Dysregulationofsomatostatinhasbeenassociatedwithdiseasessuchasacromegaly,diabetes,andvariousneuroendocrinetumors.
1.2RoleofRNAProbes:
