WiththerapiddevelopmentoftheInternetandtheexplosivegrowthofdatatraffic,high-speedroutingandswitchingtechnologyhasbecomeincreasinglyimportantfornetworkinfrastructure.High-speedroutingandswitchingtechnologyisessentialforensuringefficientandreliabletransmissionofdatapacketsacrossnetworks.Thispaperaimstoexplorethecurrentstatusofhigh-speedroutingandswitchingtechnologyanditsdevelopmenttrends.
CurrentStatusofHigh-SpeedRoutingandSwitchingTechnology
Thecurrentstateofhigh-speedroutingandswitchingtechnologycanbesummarizedintothreeaspects:technologyfoundation,hardwareimplementation,andapplicationscenarios.
TechnologyFoundation
Thefoundationofhigh-speedroutingandswitchingtechnologyisbasedontheroutingalgorithms,forwardingstrategies,anddataplaneswitchingmethods.Theseaspectsdirectlyaffecttheperformanceofhigh-speedroutingandswitchingnetworks.Thedevelopmentofhigh-speedroutingandswitchingtechnologyisbasedonthefollowing:
