Abstract:
Ultra-highmolecularweightpolyethylene(UHMWPE)isahigh-performancepolymerwidelyusedinvariousindustriesduetoitsexceptionalmechanicalproperties.TheproductionofUHMWPEtypicallyinvolvestheuseofacatalystsystem,withaparticularemphasisonthedevelopmentofefficientandcost-effectivecatalysts.Thispaperaimstoexploretheapplicationofhigh-efficiencyCMcatalystinUHMWPEproduction,focusingonitsadvantages,challenges,andpotentialwaystoovercomethem.Thepaperalsoreviewsrecentadvancesincatalyticsystemsandprovidesperspectivesonfutureresearchdirections.
1.Introduction:
Ultra-highmolecularweightpolyethylene(UHMWPE)isathermoplasticmaterialcharacterizedbyitsextremelyhighmolecularweight(>1milliong/mol),outstandingimpactstrength,lowcoefficientoffriction,andexcellentchemicalresistance.TheseuniquepropertiesmakeUHMWPEsuitableforvariousapplications,includingwear-resistantcomponents,medicalimplants,fibers,andmanyothers.
