Introduction:
Occupationaldiseasesareasignificantthreattothehealthandwell-beingofworkersworldwide.Identifyingandmitigatingkeyoccupationalhazardsiscriticalformaintainingasafeandhealthyworkenvironment.ThisstudyfocusesonanalyzingthedetectionresultsofkeyoccupationalhazardsinselectenterprisesinChongqing,Chinain2019,aimingtoprovideinsightsintothenatureandprevalenceofthesehazards.
Methods:
ThestudycollecteddatafromvariousenterprisesinChongqing,includingmanufacturing,construction,andservicesectors.Detectionofkeyoccupationalhazardswasconductedusingstandardizedmethodssuchasinterviews,observationalsurveys,andlaboratoryanalyses.Theanalysisfocusedonfourmainhazardousfactors:physicalfactors,chemicalfactors,biologicalfactors,andergonomicfactors.
Results:
Theresultsofthedetectionrevealedthefollowingkeyfindings:
1.PhysicalFactors:
Physicalfactorsrefertovariousconditionsintheworkplace,includingnoise,vibration,temperature,andradiation.Thestudyfoundthatnoiseexceededpermissiblelevelsinseveralmanufacturingunits,leadingtopotentialhearinglossamongworkers.Additionally,inadequatemeasurestocontroltemperatureandradiationincertainconstructionsitesposedhealthriskstotheworkers.
2.ChemicalFactors:
Chemicalfactorsincludeexposuretotoxicsubstancessuchasgases,dust,andchemicals.Thestudyidentifiedseveralalarmingtrendsregardingchemicalhazards.Forinstance,certainmanufacturingunitsshowedhighlevelsofexposuretoharmfulchemicals,leadingtorisksofrespiratorydisordersandskindiseases.Inadequatepersonalprotectiveequipmentandpoorstoragepracticescontributedtothesehazardousconditions.
3.BiologicalFactors:
Biologicalfactorsencompasshazardsarisingfromexposuretoinfectiousagentssuchasviruses,bacteria,andfungi.Thestudyfoundthatemployeesinhealthcarefacilities,particularlyhospitalsandclinics,wereatincreasedriskofcontractingcommunicablediseasesduetoinadequateinfectioncontrolpractices.Thelackofpropersani
