Abstract:
Pesticideresiduemonitoringisanessentialaspectofensuringfoodsafetyandpublichealth.ThisstudyaimstoanalyzethepesticideresiduemonitoringresultsonvegetablesandfruitsinTaiyuanCityfrom2015to2019.Thedatacollectedduringthisperiodwereanalyzedandevaluatedtoassessthelevelsofpesticideresiduesandtheirpotentialriskstoconsumers.Thefindingshighlighttheimportanceofeffectivemonitoringprogramsandproperagriculturalpracticestominimizepesticideresiduesinfoodcommodities.
1.Introduction:
Pesticideuseinagricultureplaysacrucialroleinenhancingcropyieldsandensuringfoodsecurity.However,thewidespreaduseofpesticideshasraisedconcernsabouttheirpotentialhealthrisksduetoresiduesaccumulatinginfood.Monitoringpesticideresidueslevelsinvegetablesandfruitsis,therefore,necessarytoensurefoodsafety.ThispaperpresentsananalysisofpesticideresiduemonitoringresultsinTaiyuanCityfrom2015to2019,providingvaluableinsightsintothetrendsandconcentrationsofpesticideresiduesinlocalfoodcommodities.
2.MaterialsandMethods:
ThemonitoringdatausedinthisstudywereobtainedfromtheTaiyuanCityAgricultureBureau,whichcloselymonitorspesticideresiduelevelsinvegetablesandfruits.Thesamplingsitescoveredvariousareasofthecitytoensurerepresentativedata.Sampleswerecollectedperiodicallyandanalyzedusingstandardtestingmethodstodeterminethepresenceandconcentrationofpesticideresidues.Theresultswerecompiledandanalyzedusingstatisticalsoftware.
3.Results:
Theanalysisofthemonitoringdatarevealedthatthemajorityofthesampledvegetablesandfruitshaddetectablepesticideresidues.However,theconcentrationsvariedsignificantlydependingonthetypeofproductandthespecificpesticideused.Theresultsshowedbothpositiveandnegativetrendsinpesticideresiduelevelsduringthestudyperiod.Somepesticideresiduesexhibitedadecreasingtrend,indicatingimprovedagriculturalpracticesandtheadoptionofsaferpesticidealternatives.However,certainpesticideresiduesremainedat
