Abstract:
TheSilkRoad,anancienttraderouteconnectingChinawiththerestofAsiaandEurope,playedapivotalroleinfosteringeconomicandculturalexchanges.Inrecentyears,therevivaloftheSilkRoadhasbroughtaboutnewopportunitiesforregionaldevelopment.ThispaperaimstoexplorethepathtobuildingcompetitiveadvantagesfortheShaanxi(Xi'an)FreeTradeZoneinthecontextoftheSilkRoad.ByanalyzingthehistoricalsignificanceandthecurrentdevelopmentoftheSilkRoad,alongwiththeuniquestrengthsofShaanxi,thisstudyproposesstrategiesforrealizingthecompetitivepotentialsoftheregion.
1.Introduction
TheSilkRoad,withitsrichhistoricalbackgroundanddiverseculturalexchanges,holdsimmensepotentialforregionaldevelopment.TheShaanxi(Xi'an)FreeTradeZone,locatedatthestartingpointoftheSilkRoad,offersauniqueopportunitytoleveragethehistoricalandgeographicaladvantagesoftheregion.ThispaperaimstoexplorethestrategiestobuildcompetitiveadvantagesfortheShaanxiFreeTradeZone.
2.HistoricalSignificanceandCurrentDevelopmentoftheSilkRoad
