Abstract:
Inrecentyears,thehealthcareindustryhaswitnessedafast-pacedtechnologicaltransformation.Theadventoftheinternetandadvancementinwebdevelopmenthassignificantlyimprovedtheefficiencyandaccessibilityofvarioushealthcareservices.Thepurposeofthispaperistoproposethedesignofaweb-basedhospitalappointmentregistrationsystem,whichaimstostreamlinetheprocessofsecuringmedicalappointmentsforpatients.
Introduction:
Thetraditionalmethodofmakingappointmentsathospitalsinvolvesvisitingorcallingthehospitaltoinquireaboutavailabletimeslotsandthenphysicallyvisitingthehospitaltosecuretheappointment.Thistediousandtime-consumingprocesscreatesinconvenienceforpatientsandoftenleadstodelays.Aweb-basedhospitalappointmentregistrationsystemcanrevolutionizethewayappointmentsaremade,enablingpatientstoconvenientlyscheduleappointmentsfromanywhereatanytime.
DesignObjectives:
Theprimaryobjectiveindesigningaweb-basedhospitalappointmentregistrationsystemistosimplifytheappointmentbookingprocessforpatientsandenhancetheoverallefficiencyofhospitals.Thesystemshouldprovideauser-friendlyinterfaceforpatientstobrowsethroughavailabledoctors,viewtheirprofiles,andsecureasuitableappointmentslot.Additionally,thesystemshouldprovidedoctorsandhospitalstaffwithreal-timeaccesstopatientrecords,facilitatingbettermanagementofappointmentsandoptimizinghealthcaredelivery.
