Functionallygradedsandwichpanelswithsoftcorehavegainedsignificantattentioninnavalarchitectureduetotheirexcellentenergyabsorptioncapabilities.Thispaperaimstoinvestigatethedynamicresponseofship-sizedsoftcorefunctionallygradedsandwichpanelsunderimpactloading.Thestudyfocusesonunderstandingthebehaviorofthesepanels,aswellastheirpotentialapplicationsinenhancingthestructuralintegrityandsafetyofmarinevessels.

1.Introduction
Inrecentyears,therehasbeenanincreasingdemandforlightweightandhigh-performancematerialsinthemaritimeindustry.Functionallygradedsandwichpanels,alsoknownasgradedcomposites,haveemergedasapromisingsolutionduetotheiruniquecombinationofstiffness,strength,andweight.Thesepanelsarecomposedoftwofacesheetsandasoftcorematerial,whichprovidesexcellentenergyabsorptioncharacteristics.Understandingthedynamicresponseofship-sizedsoftcorefunctionallygradedsandwichpanelsisessentialfordesigningsaferandmoreefficientmarinestructures.
