四川王朗自然保护区及邻近地区蚁科昆虫区系分析 Introduction Antsareanextremelydiverseandecologicallyimportantgroupofinsects.Theyoccupyacentralroleinmanyecosystems,affectingsoilstructure,nutrientcycling,andseeddispersal.TheSichuanWanglangNatureReserveisoneofthefewremainingareasofprimaryforestinChinaandsupportsarichdiversityofinsects.However,littleisknownabouttheantcommunitiesinthisregion,theirecologicalroles,andtheirrelationshipstootherorganismsinthearea.Therefore,thepurposeofthispaperistoprovideananalysisoftheantdiversityintheSichuanWanglangNatureReserveandthesurroundingarea. Methods ToassessthediversityofantsintheSichuanWanglangNatureReserveandthesurroundingarea,weconductedasurveyoftheantspeciespresent.Samplingwascarriedoutduringthesummermonths,fromJunetoAugust,whenantactivityisatitspeak.Weusedacombinationofbaitsandpitfalltrapstocaptureants. Baittrapsweresetupusingamixtureofcannedtuna,honey,andboricacidasthebait.Thebaitwasplacedinpetridishesandplacedatvariouslocationsinthestudyarea.Pitfalltrapsweremadebyburyingplasticcupsintheground,withtherimflushwiththesurface,andfillingthemwithasolutionofwateranddishsoap.Trapswereleftinplacefor24hoursbeforebeingcollectedandtheantsweresortedandidentified. Results Weidentifiedatotalof48antspeciesfrom11generainthestudyarea.ThemostabundantgenerawerePheidoleandCamponotus,whichaccountedforover60%ofallantscollected.OthergenerapresentincludedLinepithema,Tetramorium,andCrematogaster. ThemostcommonspeciesobservedwasPheidolespadonia,whichwasfoundinallareasofthereserve.Camponotusjaponicus,anothercommonspecies,wasabundantintheforestedareasofthereserve.Wealsoobservedahighdegreeofdiversityamongthelesscommonantspecies,withseveralspeciesfoundonlyinsmallnumbers. Discussion TheresultsofourstudyindicatethattheSichuanWanglangNatureReserveandthesurroundingareasupportarichdiversityofants.Thepresenceofalargenumberofantspeciesintheareasuggeststhatantsplayanimportantroleinmaintainingtheecologicalbalanceoftheregion.Antsareknowntohaveasignificantimpactonseeddispersalandnutrientcy
