Abstract:
High-voltagetransmissionlinesplayavitalroleinthepowergrid.However,theyarepronetofaults,andtimelyidentificationandprotectionagainstthesefaultsarecrucialformaintainingastableandreliablepowersupply.Inthispaper,anovelmethodforthediscriminationandprotectionoffaults,specificallylinebreaks,inhigh-voltagetransmissionlinesisproposed.Themethodisbasedontheratiorelationshipofsequencecurrents.Theoreticalanalysis,simulation,andexperimentalresultsdemonstratetheeffectivenessandaccuracyoftheproposedmethod.
1.Introduction:
High-voltagetransmissionlinesaresubjectedtovariousexternalfactorsandoperationalconditionsthatcanleadtofaults,includinglinebreaks.Thepromptdetectionofthesefaultsisessentialforpreventingblackouts,reducingsystemdowntime,andensuringthesafetyofpersonnelandequipment.Inthispaper,anovelapproachforfaultdiscriminationandprotectioninhigh-voltagetransmissionlinesispresented.Themethodexploitstheratiorelationshipofsequencecurrentstoeffectivelyidentifylinebreaksandactivateappropriateprotectivemeasures.
2.PrincipleoftheMethod:
