GeneEditingTechnology: Geneeditingtechnologies,suchasClusteredRegularlyInterspacedShortPalindromicRepeats(CRISPR)/Cas9,TranscriptionActivator-likeEffectorNucleases(TALENs),andZincFingerNucleases(ZFNs),haveprovidedpowerfultoolsforpreciselyalteringtheDNAsequenceofplants.CRISPR/Cas9,inparticular,hasgainedsignificantattentionduetoitssimplicity,versatility,andcost-effectiveness.
