Abstract:
Theroadconstructionindustryisconstantlyseekinginnovativesolutionstoenhancetheperformanceanddurabilityofpavements.Inrecentyears,theuseofcompoundorganicwater-stablemixtures(COWMs)hasgainedattentionduetotheirpotentialtoimproveroadperformance.ThisstudyaimstoinvestigatetheroadperformanceofCOWMsthroughexperimentaltrials.Theresearchmethodologyincludeslaboratorytesting,fieldevaluations,andperformanceanalysis.TheresultsshowthatCOWMshavesuperiorcharacteristicscomparedtotraditionalmixturesintermsofwaterstability,durability,andresistancetoenvironmentaldegradation.ThisstudyprovidessignificantinsightsintothepotentialbenefitsofCOWMs,contributingtotheadvancementofroadconstructiontechnologies.

Introduction:
Theconstructionandmaintenanceofroadinfrastructurerequiredurableandsustainablematerialstoensuresatisfactoryperformanceoveralongperiod.Traditionalmaterials,suchasasphaltmixturesandcementconcrete,havebeenwidelyusedinroadconstructionduetotheirprovenperformance.However,theseconventionalmaterialsfacechallengesintermsofwaterstability,durability,andenvironmentalimpact.Asaresult,researchershavebeenexploringalternativematerials,andcompoundorganicwater-stablemixtures(COWMs)haveemergedasapotentialsolution.
COWMsareinnovativecombinationsoforganicmaterialsthataimtoprovideenhancedroadperformance.Thesemixturestypicallyconsistofablendofpolymers,fibers,andotheradditivesthatimprovetheirwaterstability,durability,andresistancetoenvironmentaldegradation.TheobjectiveofthisstudyistoassesstheroadperformanceofCOWMsandcomparethemwithtraditionalmaterialsthroughlaboratorytesting,fieldevaluations,andperformanceanalysis.
