Abstract:
Indoorairqualityisoneofthekeyfactorsaffectingpeople'shealthandcomfort.Volatileorganiccompounds(TVOCs)arecommonpollutantsinindoorair,andaccuratemeasurementofTVOCconcentrationsinindoorairiscrucialforassessingthedegreeofindoorairquality.ThisstudyaimstoprepareamixedstandardgasforTVOCdetectioninindoorairandstudyitsperformance.
First,weselectedcommonTVOCcomponentsinindoorairasthecompositionofthemixedstandardgas.Byliteraturesurveyandexperimentaltesting,asetofTVOCcomponentswasdetermined,andcorrespondingpuregaswaschosenasreferencesubstances.Then,aseriesofmixedstandardgaseswithdifferentconcentrationswerepreparedbycalculationofmassdisplacement,mixingratio,anddilutionrate.
Next,aseriesofperformancetestswereconductedonthepreparedmixedstandardgas.First,thecomponentsofthemixedstandardgaswerequalitativelyandquantitativelyanalyzedusinggaschromatography(GC).TheresultsshowedthattheconcentrationsofTVOCcomponentsinthepreparedmixedstandardgaswereconsistentwithexpectationsandwereabletoaccuratelysimulateTVOCpollutioninindoorair.Secondly,thestabilityofthemixedstandardgaswastested,andtheresultsshowedthatthepreparedmixedstandardgascouldmaintainarelativelystableconcentrationwithinacertaintimerange.Finally,therepeatabilityofthemixedstandardgaswasevaluated,andtheresultssh
