Abstract:
Withthedevelopmentofnewmedia,traditionalnewspaperindustryisfacinghugechallenges.TherapiddevelopmentoftheInternetbringsmanyopportunitiesandchallengestothetraditionalnewspaperindustry.Ontheonehand,itprovidesabroaderplatformfornewspaperstoconveyinformation,andontheotherhand,italsoposesahugechallengetotraditionalprintnewspapers.Toadapttothischange,traditionalnewspapersneedtotransformandexplorenewdevelopmentpathsbasedonnewmediatechnologies.Thispaperanalysesthetransformationpathoftraditionalnewspaperindustryinthenewmediaera.
Introduction:
Inrecentyears,theworldhasundergonetremendouschangesduetorapiddevelopmentofnewmediaandtheInternet,whichhashadahugeimpactonthetraditionalnewspaperindustry.Inthepast,newspaperswereoneofthemainchannelsforpeopletoobtaininformation.However,withtheadventofthedigitalage,people'sreadinghabitshavechanged,andthetraditionalnewspaperindustryisgraduallybeingreplacedbynewmediaandtheInternet.
Atpresent,mosttraditionalnewspapershaveestablishedtheirownonlineplatforms,buttherevenuefromdigitalmediaisfarfrommakingupforthelossofprintadvertisingrevenue.Tosurviveanddevelopinsuchaturbulentenvironment,traditionalnewspapersshouldexploreanewpathandmakefulluseoftheadvantagesofnewmediatechnology.
