Introduction: Whitewineisapopularalcoholicbeveragewithawiderangeofflavorsandaromas.Thepresenceofactivecarbonylcompoundsinwhitewineiscrucialastheyareresponsibleforthecharacteristictasteandaromaofthewine.Thesecompoundsresultfromtheoxidationofethanolduringwinemakingandmaturationprocesses.Thepresenceandconcentrationofactivecarbonylcompoundscanvarydependingonthegrapevarietyused,thewineproductiontechniquesemployed,andthegeographicaloriginofthewine. ExperimentalMethodology: Inthisstudy,whitewinesamplesfromdifferentoriginsandwithdifferentaromaswerecollectedforanalysis.Thesamplesweresubjectedtogaschromatographyanalysisusinganelectroncapturedetector.ThesampleswereinjectedintotheGCcolumn,andtheactivecarbonylcompoundswereseparatedbasedontheirvolatilityandaffinitytowardsthestationaryphase.Thedetectorresponsewasrecordedandanalyzedquantitatively. Results: Theanalysisofthewhitewinesamplesrevealedthepresenceofseveralactivecarbonylcompounds,includingacetaldehyde,acetone,acrolein,andbenzaldehyde.Thesecompoundsweredetectedandquantifiedbasedontheirretentiontimesandpeakareas.Theresultsshowedthattheconcentrationofactivecarbonylcompoundsvariedsignificantlyamongthedifferentwhitewinesanalyzed.Additionally,theprofilesofactivecarbonylcompoundswerefoundtodifferbasedonthewi
