Introduction: Ultrahigh-voltageoil-immersedhollowelectricreactorisanimportantdeviceinthepowertransmissionanddistributionsystem.Itplaysakeyroleinvoltageregulation,reactivepowercompensation,andstabilitycontroloftheelectricgrid.However,theheatgeneratedbythereactorduringoperationcancausetemperaturerise,affectingthesafetyandstabilityoftheequipment.Therefore,itisessentialtounderstandthetemperaturefieldcalculationandinfluencingfactorsofultrahigh-voltageoil-immersedhollowelectricreactorinordertooptimizethedesignandensurethesafeandreliableoperation. Methodology: Thefiniteelementanalysismethodwasusedinthisstudytosimulatethetemperaturedistributionwithintheultrahigh-voltageoil-immersedhollowelectricreactor.TheCOMSOLMultiphysicssoftwarewasutilizedtoestablishthenumericalmodelofthereactor,andtheheattransfermodulewasusedforsimulationoftemperaturedistributionovertheentireareaofthereactor.Inordertoanalyzetheimpactofdifferentfactorsonthetemperaturefield,variousscenariosweresimulatedunderdifferentconditions,suchasdifferentpowerloads,oiltemperature,andambienttemperature. Resultsandanalysis: Thesimulationresultsshowedthatthetemperaturedistributionwithintheultrahigh-voltageoil-immersedhollowelectricreactorwasnotuniform,withhighertemperaturesoccurringatthecoreofthereactorandlowertemperaturesattheouterlayer.Themaximumtemperaturewasfoundtobeinfluencedbyseveralfactors,includingtheoiltemperature,theambienttemperature,andthepowerload.
