I.Introduction
Withtherapiddevelopmentoftheelectronicsindustry,electronicdevicesareincreasinglyaffectingpeople'sdailylives.Atthesametime,electromagneticcompatibility(EMC)hasbecomeacriticalelementinthedesignofelectronicdevices.ThemainreasonforconsideringEMCinthedesignofelectronicdevicesistoensurethattheyoperatecorrectlyandreliablyinthepresenceofotherelectronicdevicesandelectromagneticinterference(EMI)intheenvironment.ThepurposeofthispaperistodescribethestructureandoptimizationdesignofelectronicdevicesrelatedtoEMC.
II.ElectronicDeviceStructure
Electronicdevicesareusuallycomposedofvariouselectroniccomponentsincludingresistors,capacitors,inductors,diodes,andtransistors,whichareplacedonaprintedcircuitboard(PCB)toformacompleteelectroniccircuit.ThePCBprovidesaphysicalplatformforelectroniccomponentsandsignalsandconnectsthemelectrically.Duetothecompactstructureandhigh-densityplacementofelectroniccomponentsonthePCB,theelectromagneticfieldgeneratedbytheelectronicdeviceiscomplexanddifficulttopredictaccurately.
III.ElectromagneticCompatibility
EMCreferstoanelectronicdeviceorsystem'sabilitytoworkcorrectlyandreliablyinthepresenceofotherelectronicdevicesandEMIinthesurroundingenvironment.EMCproblemssuchasconductedinterference,radiatedinterference,andelectrostaticdischarge(ESD)occurwhenelectronicdevicesgenerateorareexposedtoelectromagneticradiation.
ToimprovetheEMCperformanceofelectronicdevices,itisnecessarytoconsiderelectromagneticradiationattheinitialstageoftheelectronicdevice'sdesign.EMCdesigntechniquesincludegroundplanedesign,shieldingdesign,filterdesign,andESDprotectiondesign.
IV.OptimizationDesign
Theoptimizationdesignofelectronicdevicesincludesimprovingtheperformanceoftheelectronicdevice'sdesignwhileconsideringEMC.OptimizationisachievedbyreducingtheEMIgeneratedbyelectronicdevicesandincreasingtheirEMCperformance.AnoptimizeddesignreducesthelikelihoodofEMIbeinggeneratedbyelectronicdevicesandprotectsagainstenvironmentalEMI.
