Abstract:
ThispaperaimstoexplorethefactorsinfluencingtheefficiencyofmarketingchannelsforspecialagriculturalproductsinnorthernJiangsu,usingYuhuagarlicasanexample.Byexaminingthecurrentmarketingchannels,analyzingthechallengesfacedbyfarmers,middlemen,andconsumers,andexploringpotentialsolutions,thisresearchhighlightstheimportanceofimprovingmarketingefficiencytoensurethesustainabledevelopmentoftheagriculturalindustryintheregion.ThefindingsofthisstudycontributetotheunderstandingofagriculturalmarketinginnorthernJiangsuandprovidepracticalinsightsforstakeholdersinvolvedintheproductionandmarketingofspecialagriculturalproducts.
1.Introduction:
SpecialagriculturalproductsplayacrucialroleintheagriculturalindustryofnorthernJiangsu.Theyarenotonlyimportantforlocaleconomicdevelopmentbutalsoenhancetheregion'suniqueculturalidentity.However,themarketingoftheseproductsfacesmanychallenges,affectingtheefficiencyandprofitabilityofthemarketingchannels.ThisstudyfocusesonYuhuagarlic,oneofthemostprominentspecialagriculturalproductsintheregion,toidentifythefactorsthatinfluencetheefficiencyofmarketingchannelsandproposepotentialsolutionsforimprovement.
2.CurrentMarketingChannelsforYuhuaGarlic:
Currently,themarketingchannelsforYuhuagarlicarecharacterizedbyadirectsalefromproducerstoconsumersorthroughamiddlemansystem.Farmersselltheirgarlicinlocalmarkets,onlineplatforms,ortomiddlemenwhodistributethemfurther.Whilethedirectsaleapproachenablesfarmerstoearnhigherprofits,themiddlemansystemoffersconvenienceandlogisticssupport.However,bothapproachesfacechallengesthathindertheefficiencyofthemarketingchannels.
