Inshippropellershaftsystems,thesternbearingplaysacrucialroleinsupportingandaligningthepropellershaftwhileensuringsmoothrotation.However,theoperatingconditionsofthepropellershaftcanbechallenging,leadingtohighfrictionandwearonthebearingsurfaces.Toaddressthisissue,compositeliningmaterialsareoftenutilizedtoenhancetheperformanceofsternbearings.Additionally,theinclinationofthesternbearingaxiscaninfluencethelubricationprocess.Thispaperaimstoanalyzethemixedlubricationcharacteristicsoftiltedsternbearingswithcompositeliningandexplorestructuraloptimizationpossibilitiesforenhancedperformance.
