Introduction Electrochemicalcellsarewidelyusedintheproductionofelectrochemicalproductssuchasaluminum,magnesium,andothermetals.ThemostcommonlyusedcellsintheproductionofaluminumareHall-Héroultcells.Thedevelopmentofthealuminumindustryhasledtothedevelopmentofvariousaluminumelectrolysistechnologies,includingthe200kAserieselectrochemicalcells,whicharecurrentlythemostwidelyusedintheworld. Thecathodicphosphorusironcastingtechnologyisanewtechnologyfortheproductionofhigh-qualityaluminum.ThistechnologyhasbeenwidelyusedinChinaandhasshowngoodperformanceintheproductionofaluminum. Thisstudyaimstoexploretheperformanceofthecathodicphosphorusironcastingtechnologyintheelectrochemicalcellsofthe200kAseriesandtoevaluateitsadvantagesanddisadvantages. ExperimentalProcedures Thecathodicphosphorusironcastingtechnologywastestedintheelectrochemicalcellsofthe200kAseries.Theexperimentwascarriedoutunderdifferentconditions,includingdifferentelectrolytetemperatures,differentanodicandcathodiccurrentdensities,anddifferentaluminumfluorideconcentrations. Thealuminumproductionefficiency,thealuminumpurity,andtheenergyconsumptionwereanalyzedtoevaluatetheperformanceofthecathodicphosphorusironcastingtechnology. ResultsandDiscussion Theresultsobtainedfromtheexperimentshowedthatthecathodicphosphorusironcastingtechnologyhadexcellentperformanceintheelectrochemicalcellsofthe200kAseries. Theproductionefficiencyofaluminumwassignificantlyimprovedbythecathodicphosphorusironcastingtechnology.Thetechnologyincreasedtheoutputofaluminumby3.6%,andtheaveragealuminumcurrentefficiencywasincreasedby1.
