Abstract:
Thispaperaimstoanalyzethecausesofmisoperationintherelayingprotectionofa35kVlowresistanceearthedsysteminawindfarmandproposeimprovementstrategies.Misoperationinrelayingprotectioncanleadtounnecessarytrippingandinterruptionsinthepowersystem,affectingtheoverallreliabilityandstability.Byunderstandingthespecificchallengesandcharacteristicsofwindfarmsystems,appropriateimprovementscanbemadetoenhancetheoverallperformanceoftheprotectionscheme.
1.Introduction:
Windfarmsarebecomingincreasinglypopularasarenewableenergysource.However,theuniquecharacteristicsofwindfarmsystems,suchasintermittentgenerationandvariableoperatingconditions,presentchallengesfortherelayingprotectionsystem.Thelowresistanceearthedsysteminawindfarm,wherethegeneratorneutralpointisgroundedwithalowresistance,isparticularlysusceptibletomisoperation.Thispaperaimstoinvestigatethecausesofmisoperationandproposestrategiestoimprovetherelayingprotectionsystem.
