Introduction Radarsystemsareusedfortrackinganddetectingtargetsinvariousapplications,includingaviation,military,naval,andweatherforecasting.Thesesystemsconsistofseveralcomponentssuchastheradartransmitter,antenna,receiver,andsignalprocessor.Theradarantennaisacriticalcomponentofaradarsystemandrequiresaccuratepositioningandtrackingofthetarget.Theantennalockingsystemisusedtoprovideprecisepositioningandtrackingoftheantennawithrespecttothetarget.Thelockingsystemusesservomotorsandcontrolsystemstoachieveaccuratepositioningandtracking. DesignoftheRadarAntennaLockingSystem Thedesignoftheradarantennalockingsysteminvolvestheselectionoftheservomotor,themechanicalsystem,andthecontrolsystem.Theservomotorisselectedbasedonthetorqueandspeedrequirementsofthesystem.Themechanicalsystemincludestheantennastructure,thepositionencoder,andthegearsystem.Thepositionencoderisusedtomeasurethepositionoftheantenna,whichisusedforfeedbacktothecontrolsystem.Thegearsystemisusedtoincreasethetorqueoftheservomotor.
