Abstract:
Theextractionofvaluablemetalsfromblacktungstenorehasgainedsignificantattentionduetoitsabundanceandhigheconomicvalue.However,theleachingprocessgeneratesalkalileachingresidue,whichrequiresproperhandlingduetoitsphysicalandenvironmentalcharacteristics.Thispaperreviewsthephysicalandenvironmentalcharacteristicsofalkalileachingresidueandexploresthepotentialfortherecoveryofvaluablemetalsthroughsuitableprocesses.
1.Introduction:
Theextractionofvaluablemetals,suchastungsten,fromblacktungstenoreinvolvesthealkalileachingprocess.Thisprocessutilizesalkalinesolutionstodissolvetungstenmineralspresentintheore.Althoughtheprocesseffectivelyextractsvaluablemetals,italsogeneratesasignificantamountofalkalileachingresidue,whichrequiresefficientmanagementduetoitsphysicalandenvironmentalcharacteristics.
2.PhysicalCharacteristics:
2.1ParticleSizeDistribution:Alkalileachingresiduetypicallyconsistsoffineparticleswithawiderangeofsizes.Theparticlesizedistributionaffectsthedisposalandreutilizationoftheresidue.
