Abstract:
Withtherapiddevelopmentofmobilenetworks,theemergenceof5Gtechnologyhasrevolutionizedthetelecommunicationsindustry.Oneofthekeyfeaturesof5GnetworksisNon-StandaloneArchitecture(NSA),whichcombinesexisting4Ginfrastructurewithnew5Gcapabilities.However,thisintegrationposeschallenges,particularlyindealingwithcommon-modeinterference.Thispaperaimstoexplorethevariousaspectsofcommon-modeinterferencein5GNSAnetworks,analyzeitsimpact,anddiscusspotentialsolutionstomitigatetheseeffects.
1.Introduction:
Theimplementationof5Gtechnologyrequiresthesimultaneouscoexistenceof4Gand5Gequipment,resultinginmixednetworks.Thismixednetworkarchitecture,knownasNon-StandaloneArchitecture(NSA),allowsoperatorstoleverageexisting4Ginfrastructurewhileenhancingitwith5Gcapabilities.However,NSAnetworksfacechallengesregardingcommon-modeinterference,whichoccurswhenboth4Gand5Gsystemsexperienceinterferencesimultaneously.
2.Common-ModeInterferencein5GNetworks:

Common-modeinterferencereferstointerferencethataffectsboththe4Gand5Gsystemssimultaneously.Itcanbecausedbyvariousfactors,includingantennacharacteristics,transmissionlines,groundloops,andelectromagneticcompatibilityissues.Understandingthesecausesiscrucialtoeffectivelyaddressingtheinterference.
