Abstract:
ThispaperinvestigatestheperformanceofLow-DensityParity-Check(LDPC)codesinCodeDivisionMultipleAccess(CDMA)systems.LDPCcodeshavegainedsignificantattentioninrecentyearsduetotheirimpressiveerrorcorrectioncapabilitiesandlowcomplexity.However,theirperformanceinCDMAsystemsremainsanopenareaofresearch.ThispaperaimstofillthisgapbystudyingtheeffectofLDPCcodesontheperformanceofCDMAsystems.Theresearchincludestheoreticalanalysis,simulations,andperformancecomparisonswithothercodingschemescommonlyemployedinCDMAsystems.TheresultsdemonstratetheadvantagesandlimitationsofusingLDPCcodesinCDMAsystems,providingvaluableinsightsforfuturesystemdesignandoptimization.
