Abstract:
Real-TimeKinematic(RTK)positioningisapopulartechniqueusedtoachievehigh-precisionnavigationandpositioning.However,theaccuracyofRTKmeasurementsissusceptibletoerrorsintroducedbymultipathinterference.Thisinterferenceoccurswhensatellitesignalsarereflectedoffsurfacessuchasbuildings,trees,orotherobstructionsbeforereachingthereceiverantenna.Thepurposeofthispaperistoexploreandevaluatedifferentmulti-pathsuppressionmethodsspecificallydesignedfortheGlobalPositioningSystem(GPS)andBeiDouNavigationSatelliteSystem(BDS)combinationinRTKapplications.
1.Introduction:
1.1Background:
TheGPSandBDSaretwomajorglobalnavigationsatellitesystemsthatprovidepositioning,navigation,andtimingservicesonaglobalscale.Bycombiningthemeasurementsobtainedfromthesetwosystems,RTKtechniquescanleveragethestrengthsofbothsystemstoimprovepositioningaccuracyandreliability.However,multipathinterferencecansignificantlydegradetheperformanceofRTKpositioning,especiallyinurbanenvironmentswherebuildingsandotherstructurescreateahighnumberofreflectivesurfaces.
1.2ResearchMotivation:
Toovercomethechallengesposedbymultipathinterference,variousmulti-pathsuppressionmethodshavebeenproposedintheliterature.ThesemethodsaimtomitigatetheimpactofreflectedsignalsonthepositioningaccuracyofGPSBDScombinationinRTKapplications.Thispaperaimstoreviewandevaluatethemostprominentmulti-pathsuppressiontechniquesusedinRTK,withparticularfocusontheGPSBDScombination.
