一种基于PPM的LDPC编译码方案 Title:AnImprovedPPM-basedLDPCCompilationDecodingScheme Abstract: Low-DensityParity-Check(LDPC)codeshavebeenwidelyusedinvariouscommunicationsystemsduetotheiradvantageouserrorcorrectioncapabilities.ThispaperpresentsanimprovedLDPCdecodingschemebasedonPulsePositionModulation(PPM).TheproposedschemeaimstoenhancethedecodingperformanceofLDPCcodeswhilemaintainingalowcomputationalcomplexity.TheperformanceevaluationandanalysisshowthatthePPM-basedLDPCdecodingschemeachievessuperiorerrorcorrectionperformancecomparedtotraditionalLDPCdecodingmethods. 1.Introduction LDPCcodesareaclassoflinearblockcodesthatofferexcellenterrorcorrectionperformance,makingthemidealforvariouscommunicationsystems.However,thedecodingcomplexityisacrucialchallengeinpracticalimplementations.ThispaperproposesanovelLDPCdecodingschemebasedonPPM,whichreducesthecomputationalcomplexitywhilemaintainingexcellentdecodingperformance. 2.Background 2.1LDPCCodes LDPCcodesarecharacterizedbyasparseparity-checkmatrix,whichleadstoefficientdecodingalgorithms.Thedecodingprocessaimstoiteratebetweenestimatingthemostlikelytransmittedcodewordandupdatingthebeliefvaluesuntilconvergenceisachieved. 2.2PulsePositionModulation(PPM) PPMisamodulationtechniquethatencodesdatabyvaryingthepositionofpulsesrelativetoareferencetimeslot.PPMoffersseveraladvantages,includingresistancetomultipathfading,improvedspectralefficiency,andlowcomplexity. 3.ProposedPPM-basedLDPCDecodingScheme 3.1PPMEncoding Intheproposedscheme,LDPCcodesaremodulatedusingPPM.Theinformationbitsaremappedtopulsepositionsineachcodeword.ByadaptingthepulsepositionaccordingtotheencodedLDPCbit,theproposedschemeenhancesthedecodingperformancebyexploitingtheinherentstructureofLDPCcodes. 3.2ModifiedBeliefPropagationAlgorithm ThebeliefpropagationalgorithmismodifiedtoenableefficientdecodinginthePPM-basedLDPCdecodingscheme.TheupdaterulesareadaptedtoaccountforthePPMmodulationandthespecificcharacteristicsoftheLDPCcodes. 4.ErrorCorrectionPerformanceEvaluation Extensivesimulatio
