1.Introduction:
TheRHrefiningfurnaceiswidelyusedinsteelmakingprocessestoremoveimpuritiesandachieveprecisecontroloveralloycomposition.Thealloychargingportisacrucialcomponentthatwithstandshightemperatures,aggressivechemicalenvironments,andmechanicalstress.Therefore,selectingtheappropriaterefractorycombinationforthealloychargingportisessentialformaintainingfurnaceintegrityandensuringreliableoperation.
2.Factorsaffectingtheselectionofrefractorycombination:
Severalfactorsneedtobeconsideredduringtheoptimizationofrefractorycombinationforthealloychargingport:
2.1Temperatureresistance:TherefractorymaterialshouldhaveahighmeltingpointandexcellentthermalstabilitytowithstandtheextremetemperaturesencounteredintheRHrefiningfurnace.
2.2Chemicalresistance:Therefractorymaterialshouldbeabletoresistchemicalcorrosionfrommoltenmetalsandslag,whichmaycontainvariousoxidesandimpurities.
