Thepopularityofvideoondemand(VOD)serviceshasgrownsignificantlyinrecentyears.Asaresult,designingandimplementingaPC-basedVODsystemhasbecomeessentialtomeettheever-increasingdemandofconsumers.ThispaperpresentsacomprehensivestudyonthedesignandimplementationofaPC-basedVODsystem.Thesystemaimstoofferusersaccesstoawiderangeofvideocontentandprovideaseamlessandpersonalizedviewingexperience.Thedesignconsiderations,architecture,components,andimplementationdetailsofthesystemarediscussedindetail.
1.Introduction
VideoonDemand(VOD)referstoamediadistributionsystemthatallowsuserstorequestandwatchdigitalvideocontentonvariousdevices.APC-basedVODsystemcaterstothegrowingdemandforvideocontentonpersonalcomputers.Thissystemprovidesuserswithaccesstoavastlibraryofvideocontent,enablingthemtowatchandstreamtheirpreferredmovies,TVshows,andotherformsofvideocontentattheirconvenience.
