Abstract:
Theprecisemeasurementofphaseshiftinwaveplatesplaysacrucialroleinvariousscientificandengineeringapplications.Thispaperpresentsanovelapproachtoenhancethemeasurementprecisionofphaseshiftin14-waveplates.Theproposedmethodinvolvesacombinationofrigorouscalibrationtechniquesandadvancedsignalprocessingalgorithms.Theexperimentalresultsdemonstratethattheproposedapproachsignificantlyimprovesthemeasurementprecisioncomparedtotraditionalmethods.
1.Introduction:
Waveplates,alsoknownasretardationplatesorphaseshifters,areextensivelyusedinopticalsystemsforcontrollingpolarizationstates.Accuratemeasurementofphaseshiftsinwaveplatesisessentialforvariousapplications,includingopticalcommunication,imagingsystems,interferometry,andquantuminformationprocessing.However,duetoinherentimperfectionsinmanufacturingandcalibration,accuratelydeterminingthephaseshiftofawaveplateisachallengingtask.Thispaperintroducesanewmethodthatovercomesthesechallengesandenhancesthemeasurementprecisionof14-waveplates.
2.Background:
