ThedemandforConsumerPremisesEquipment(CPE)deviceshasbeenincreasingrapidlyduetotheever-growingneedforhigh-speedinternetandwirelesscommunication.Tomeetthisdemand,itiscrucialtodevelopcompact,low-profile,andefficientantennasystemsthatcanprovidereliablewirelessconnectivity.Thispaperpresentsanovellow-profiledual-bandcircularlypolarizedantennadesignedspecificallyforCPEdevices.Theproposedantennaoffersacompactformfactorwhilemaintainingexcellentradiationcharacteristics,makingitanidealchoiceformodernCPEapplications.
1.Introduction
ConsumerPremisesEquipment(CPE)devices,suchashomerouters,WiFiaccesspoints,andmodems,playavitalroleinprovidinginternetconnectivitytohouseholdsandbusinesses.Thesedevicesrequireefficientandreliablewirelesscommunicationcapabilities.AntennasusedinCPEdevicesshouldbesmall,low-profile,andcost-effectivewhileensuringoptimumperformance.Inthispaper,weproposealow-profiledual-bandcircularlypolarizedantennathatmeetstheserequirements.
2.AntennaDesign
Theantennadesignisbasedonacompactprintedmonopolestructure.Theproposedantennaconsistsofamodifiedcircularradiator,agroundplane,afeedingline,andacompactparasiticelement.Toachievedual-bandoperation,tworesonators,eachtunedtoaspecificfrequencyband,areintegratedintotheantennastructure.Additionally,theuseofaparasiticelementimprovestheimpedancematchingandenhancestheaxialratiobandwidth.
3.SimulationandAnalysis
