Abstract:
SyntheticApertureRadar(SAR)iswidelyusedinvariousapplications,suchasremotesensingandtargetdetection,duetoitsabilitytoacquirehigh-resolutionimagesregardlessofweatherconditions.AccuratetargetazimuthestimationiscrucialforSARimageprocessingandanalysis.Inthispaper,weproposeajointSARtargetazimuthestimationmethodthatcombinesmultipleinformationsources,includingrawechoes,multi-aspectscatteringcharacteristics,andmulti-polarizationscatteringcharacteristics.Theproposedmethodenhancestheaccuracyandrobustnessoftargetazimuthestimation,evenincomplexscenarioswithlimiteddata.
1.Introduction
TheaccurateestimationoftargetazimuthisessentialforSARimageformation,targetrecognition,andinterferometricSARapplications.Traditionalmethodsprimarilyrelyontheanalysisofthebackscatteredechoestoestimatethetargetazimuth.However,thesemethodsoftensufferfromlimitedaccuracyandrobustness,especiallyinscenarioswithhighnoiselevelsorcomplexradarenvironments.Toovercometheselimitations,itisnecessarytoadoptajointapproachthatcombinesvariousinformationsources.

2.1RawEchoAnalysis
