两层镀膜长周期光纤光栅传感器的特性研究 Abstract: Fiberopticgratingsensorshavegarneredsignificantattentioninvariousfieldsduetotheirhighsensitivity,compactsize,andimmunitytoelectromagneticinterference.Inthisstudy,weinvestigatethecharacteristicsofatwo-layer-coatedlong-periodfibergratingsensor.Thedouble-layercoatingapproachenhancesthesensor'sperformanceandimprovesitssensitivity.Weexperimentallydemonstratedtheenhancedsensitivityandstabilityofthesensoranddiscusseditspotentialapplicationsinvarioussensingdomains. 1.Introduction: Fiberopticgratingsensorshavebecomeavitaltoolinthefieldofsensingduetotheiruniqueadvantagessuchasremotesensing,highsensitivity,immunitytoelectromagneticinterference,andcompactsize.Thelong-periodfibergrating(LPFG)isoneofthemostcommonlyusedfibergratingsensors.Itexhibitsastrongcouplingefficiencybetweentheforwardpropagatingcoremodeandbackwardpropagatingcladdingmodesataspecificcouplingwavelength.Bymeasuringtheshiftinthecouplingwavelength,variousmeasurandssuchastemperature,strain,pressure,andrefractiveindexcanbedetected. 2.Two-LayerCoatingApproach: TheconventionalLPFGsensorsaretypicallyfabricatedwithoutanyadditionalcoatingonthefibersurface.However,theadditionofathinfilmorlayercansignificantlyimprovethesensor'sperformance.Inthisstudy,weinvestigateatwo-layercoatedLPFGsensor.Thedouble-layercoatingconsistsofahigh-refractive-indexouterlayerfollowedbyalowrefractive-indexinnerlayer.Thisconfigurationprovidesenhancedsensingproperties,includinghighersensitivity,increasedstability,andimprovedselectivity. 3.ExperimentalSetup: TheexperimentalsetupinvolvesthefabricationoftheLPFGsensorusingaCO2laser-inducedperiodicheatingtechnique.ThefabricatedLPFGsensoristhencoatedwiththedouble-layercoatingusingadepositionprocess.Theouterhigh-refractive-indexlayerischosenbasedonitscompatibilitywiththemeasurandtomaximizethecouplingefficiency.Theinnerlow-refractive-indexlayeractsasaprotectivelayerandensuresstabilityandselectivity. 4.CharacterizationofTwo-LayerCoatedLPFGSensor: Thefabricatedsensorischaracteri
