Laserwavelengthstabilityisacriticalfactorinvariousapplications,includinginterferometry,metrology,andprecisionmeasurements.Thispaperpresentsadetailedstudyonamethodformeasuringthelaserwavelengthstabilityofafrequencymodulatedcontinuouswave(FMCW)interferometer.TheproposedmethodcombinestheprinciplesofFMCWinterferometry,opticalfrequencycomb,andwavelengthscanningtechniquestoachievepreciseandaccuratemeasurementsoflaserwavelengthstability.Theexperimentalsetupandproceduresaredescribed,followedbytheanalysisoftheobtainedresults.Themeasuredlaserwavelengthstabilitycanbefurtherusedtooptimizeinterferometerperformanceandenhancemeasurementaccuracyinvariousfields.
1.Introduction
