一种改进的空分交换型OPS节点结构及其性能分析 Title:AnImprovedSpaceDivisionExchangeTypeOPSNodeStructureandItsPerformanceAnalysis Abstract: SpaceDivisionExchange(SDE)TypeOpticalPacketSwitching(OPS)isapromisingsolutionforhigh-speeddatacommunication.Inthispaper,weproposeanimprovedSDETypeOPSnodestructurethatenhancestheperformanceoftraditionalOPSnetworks.Wediscussthekeyfeaturesanddesignprinciplesoftheproposednodestructureandconductacomprehensiveperformanceanalysistoevaluateitseffectivenessintermsofpacketloss,delay,andthroughput.OurfindingsindicatethattheimprovedOPSnodestructuresignificantlyimprovesnetworkperformancecomparedtotraditionaldesigns. 1.Introduction Withtherapidgrowthofinternettrafficandtheincreasingdemandforhigh-speeddatacommunication,opticalpacketswitching(OPS)hasemergedasapromisingsolutiontomeettheserequirements.OPSoffersseveraladvantagesovertraditionalelectronicpacketswitching,suchashighcapacity,lowpowerconsumption,andlowlatency.However,OPSnetworksfacechallengesintermsofpacketcontentions,packetloss,anddelay,whichcandegradenetworkperformance.Toovercomethesechallenges,weproposeanimprovedspacedivisionexchange(SDE)TypeOPSnodestructure. 2.ImprovedSDETypeOPSNodeStructure Theproposednodestructureconsistsofmultipleinputandoutputports,aroutingmechanism,spacedivisionswitches,andbufferingunits.Theinputportsacceptincomingopticalpacketsandconvertthemintoelectricalsignals.Theroutingmechanismdeterminestheoptimaloutputportforeachpacketbasedonitsdestinationaddress.Thespacedivisionswitchesensurenon-blockingpacketswitchingbydirectingeachincomingpackettotheappropriateoutputport.Thebufferingunitsstorepacketstemporarilyduringcontentionresolutiontopreventpacketloss. 3.DesignPrinciples TheimprovedOPSnodestructureincorporatestwodesignprinciples:wavelengthconversionandcontentionresolution.Wavelengthconversionallowsforimprovedpacketroutingefficiencybyconvertingpacketstodifferentwavelengths,reducingcontentionattheoutputports.Contentionresolutionemploysaround-robinschedulingalgorithmtoarbitratepacketconflic
