Abstract:
Saline-alkalisoilsareamajorglobalproblem,withadverseeffectsonagriculture,ecosystem,andeconomicdevelopment.Effectivereclamationandimprovementofsaline-alkalisoilsrequiretheimplementationofproperdrainagemeasures.Thispaperaimstoanalyzetheeffectsofdifferentdrainagemeasuresontheimprovementofsaline-alkalisoilsandprovidesinsightsintotheirapplicabilityandeffectiveness.
Introduction:
Saline-alkalisoilsarecharacterizedbyhighlevelsofsaltsandalkalis,whichhinderplantgrowthandreduceagriculturalproductivity.Traditionalmethodsofdealingwiththisproblemincludelandleveling,irrigation,andchemicalamendments.However,thesemethodshaveproventobeinsufficientineffectivelyimprovingthesoilqualityandreducingsalinity.Properdrainagemeasuresarecrucialinthisregard,astheyhelptocontrolthewatertableandremoveexcessivesaltsandalkalisfromthesoil.
Methods:
Toanalyzetheeffectsofdifferentdrainagemeasuresontheimprovementofsaline-alkalisoils,variousresearchstudies,experiments,andcasestudieswerereviewed.Theresearchfocusedondifferentdrainagetechniques,includingsurfacedrainage,subsurfacedrainage,andbioremediation.Thesoilqualityparametersconsideredintheanalysisincludedelectricalconductivity(EC),pHlevels,organicmattercontent,andplantgrowthindicators.

2.SubsurfaceDrainage:
