Abstract:
Multicastcommunicationplaysacrucialroleinvariousapplications,suchasmultimediastreaming,collaborativework,anddistributedgaming.However,ensuringtheconfidentialityandintegrityofmulticastcommunicationposesuniquechallenges,asthesamecontentneedstobesecurelytransmittedtomultiplerecipientssimultaneously.Keymanagementplaysacrucialroleinmaintainingthesecurityofmulticastcommunication.Inthispaper,weproposeanewmulticastkeyupdateschemebasedontheLin-Kernighan-Helsgaun(LKH)algorithm,aimingtoenhancethesecurityandefficiencyofkeyupdatesinamulticastgroup.
1.Introduction
Multicastkeymanagementaimstoensuresecureandefficientcommunicationamongagroupofreceivers.Traditionalkeymanagementschemestypicallyutilizesymmetrickeycryptography,whereasinglesecretkeyisusedtoencryptanddecryptmessages.However,inmulticastscenarios,thisapproachbecomesimpractical.Therefore,asecureandefficientmulticastkeyupdateschemeisrequiredtoaddressthechallengesassociatedwithmulticastcommunication.
2.Background
