Introduction
Thedesignandapplicationofself-assembledsystemshaverecentlybecomeanimportantresearchareainthefieldofsupramolecularchemistryduetotheirpotentialinvariousapplications.Theself-assemblyofmoleculesinsolutionoronsurfacescanleadtotheformationofcomplexstructureswithspecificfunctionsandproperties.Inthispaper,wewilldiscussthedesignandapplicationofaself-assembledsystembasedonthethree-foldhydrogenbondinginteractions.
Designoftheself-assembledsystem
Thethree-foldhydrogenbondinginteractionshavebeenwidelyusedinthedesignofself-assembledsystemsduetotheirstronganddirectionalnature.Theinteractioninvolvestheformationofhydrogenbondsbetweenthreehydrogenbonddonorsandacceptorsarrangedinatriangulargeometry.Thisgeometryenablestheformationofastableandrigidstructure,whichcanbeutilizedtocreatecomplexarchitectures.
