1.Product-OrientedApproach:
Theproduct-orientedapproachplacesemphasisonthefinalwrittenproduct.Itfocusesonteachingstudentstheconventionsofwriting,suchasgrammar,vocabulary,andorganization.Inthisapproach,studentsareoftengivenamodeltexttoanalyze,imitate,andreplicate.Keyfeaturesofthisapproachinclude:
a.Skilldevelopment:Thisapproachaimstodevelopstudents'writingskillsthroughrepeatedpractice,scaffolding,andmodeling.Studentsareencouragedtofollowastructuredformatandadheretogrammaticalrules,withanemphasisonaccuracy.
b.Focusoncontent:Thefocusoftheproduct-orientedapproachisprimarilyonthefinalwrittenpieceratherthantheprocessofwriting.Theteacher'sroleistocorrecterrorsandprovidefeedbackonthecontent,languageuse,andorganizationofthestudents'writing.
