TheJITmodelfocusesonminimizinginventorybyreceivingsuppliesexactlywhentheyareneededintheproductionprocess.JIThelpsreduceinventoryholdingcosts,storageexpenses,andtheriskofobsolescence.JITrequiresclosecollaborationwithsuppliers,astimelyandreliabledeliveriesarecrucialforitssuccess.
