Semiconductorlasersarewidelyusedinvariousapplicationssuchascommunication,medical,andindustrialfields.Toenhancetheirperformance,itiscrucialtooptimizetheirdesign.Thispaperaimstoinvestigatetheimpactofthep-typewaveguidelayerthicknessontheelectro-opticalconversionefficiencyofsemiconductorlasersandproposestrategiesforitsoptimization.Thestudyinvolvesacomprehensivereviewofrelevantliterature,theoreticalanalysis,andexperimentalvalidation.Thefindingssuggestthatoptimizingthep-typewaveguidelayerthicknesscansignificantlyimprovetheperformanceofsemiconductorlasers,leadingtohigherelectro-opticalconversionefficiencies.
