Abstract:
TheY-sourceinverterhasgainedsignificantattentioninrenewableenergysystemsduetoitsabilitytoboosttheoutputvoltageandenhancesystemefficiency.However,onelimitationoftheY-sourceinverteristhehighripplecontentintheDClinkvoltage,whichaffectstheoverallsystemperformance.ThispaperpresentsanoptimizationtechniqueforreducingtheDClinkvoltageripplebyintegratingdiode-assistedcircuitryintotheY-sourceinverter.TheproposedmethodeffectivelyaddressestheissueoflowDClinkvoltagespikes,enhancingtheinverter'sperformanceandoverallsystemefficiency.
1.Introduction:
Renewableenergysystemsplayacrucialroleinmeetingtheever-increasingenergyrequirementsofmodernsociety.Amongthevariousrenewableenergysources,solarenergyhasemergedasoneofthemostpromisingandwidelyadoptedsources.Inordertoeffectivelyharnesssolarenergyandintegrateitintotheelectricalgrid,efficientpowerconversionsystemsarerequired.TheY-sourceinverterisapopularchoiceinphotovoltaic(PV)systemsduetoitsadvantages,includingitsabilitytoprovidevoltageboost,flexibilityincontrol,andsimplifiedcircuitry.However,theY-sourceinvertersuffersfromhighripplecontentintheDClinkvoltage,whichaffectssystemperformanceandoverallefficiency.Thispaperaimstoaddressthislimitationbyproposinganoptimizationtechniqueusingdiode-assistedcircuitry.
2.Y-SourceInverteranditsLimitations:
TheY-sourceinverterisbasedontheimpedancenetwork,consistingofaninductorandcapacitor,whichprovidesvoltageboostcapability.ThetraditionalY-sourceinvertersuffersfromahighripplecomponentintheDClinkvoltage,leadingtopoorsystemperformance.Theripplecontentaffectstheefficiency,stability,andreliabilityoftheinverter.SeveralmethodshavebeenproposedtomitigatetheDClinkvoltageripple,includingcapacitor-basedtechniques,whichincreasethecomplexityandcostofthesystem.
