Abstract:
Therapidgrowthofoptoelectronicdeviceshasledtoincreasingdemandsforhigh-performancelight-to-electricityconversionsystems.Optoelectronictransimpedanceamplifiers(TIA)playacrucialroleinconvertingtheweakphotodetectorcurrentsintovoltagesignalsforfurtherprocessing.However,thepresenceofnoiseinsuchamplifierssignificantlydegradestheoverallsystemperformance.ThispaperaimstoprovideacomprehensiveanalysisofthenoisesourcesinoptoelectronicTIAcircuitsanddiscussesvarioustechniquestomitigatenoise.
1.Introduction
OptoelectronicTIAcircuitsarewidelyusedinapplicationssuchasopticalcommunication,imaging,andsensingsystems.ThedesignofaTIAcircuitinvolvescarefulconsiderationofboththeamplifier'sgainandthenoiseperformance.Thispaperfocusesonnoiseanalysis,whichiscrucialforachievingthedesiredsignal-to-noiseratio(SNR)insuchsystems.
