Abstract:
Contaminationofcottoncombedyarnwithfibernepshasbeenapersistentissueinthetextileindustry.Thisresearchaimstoexploreeffectivemethodstoreducetheoccurrenceoffibernepsincottoncombedyarn.Aseriesofexperimentswereconducted,focusingondifferentaspectsoftheproductionprocess,includingfiberselection,cleaning,andspinning.Theresultsindicatedthatmodificationstotheseprocessescansignificantlyreducethepresenceoffiberneps,resultinginimprovedyarnquality.
1.Introduction:
Cottoncombedyarniswidelyusedinvarioustextileapplicationsduetoitssuperiorstrengthandversatility.However,thepresenceoffibernepsaffectsthequalityandsmoothnessoftheyarn,leadingtopotentialproblemsduringsubsequentprocessingandfabrication.Thisresearchaimstoidentifyandevaluatetechniquesthatcaneffectivelyminimizefibernepsincottoncombedyarn.
2.ExperimentalMethods:
2.1FiberSelection:Differentvarietiesofcottonfibersweretestedtoidentifytheirsusceptibilitytonepformation.Fibersampleswerecollectedandexaminedforthepresenceofnepsusingamicroscope.Theselectedfiberwiththeleastnepoccurrencewaschosenforfurtherexperimentation.
2.2CleaningProcess:Variouscleaningtechniquesweretestedtoremoveshortfibers,impurities,andnepsfromrawcotton.Thecleaningefficiencywasevaluatedbasedonthereductioninnepcountaftereachcleaningmethod.Theselectedcleaningmethodwiththehighestefficiencywasadoptedforsubsequentexperiments.
