Abstract:
Transformersplayacrucialroleinpowertransmissionanddistributionsystems.Thereliableoperationofthesedevicesisofutmostimportanceforensuringtheefficientandsafefunctioningofthegrid.Theevaluationanddiagnosticsoftransformersinvolvevarioustestsandmeasurements,includingfrequencyresponseandimpedanceanalysis.Thispaperaimstoexplorethesignificanceoffrequencyresponseandimpedancemeasurementsintransformerevaluationanddiagnosticsandprovideanin-depthanalysisofthesetechniques.
1.Introduction:
Transformersarecomplexelectricalmachinesthattransferelectricalenergybetweentwoormorecircuitsthroughelectromagneticinduction.Overtime,theymayexperiencevariousissuessuchasinsulationdegradation,windingfaults,andcoresaturation,whichcanimpacttheirperformanceandreliability.Theevaluationanddiagnosticsoftransformersplayacriticalroleinidentifyingtheseproblemsandensuringtimelymaintenanceorreplacement.
