Thispaperaimstoanalyzetheeconomicbenefitsofdifferentstartingmodesforsubwaysectionaljetfans.Theproperselectionofastartingmodehasasignificantimpactonenergyconsumptionandtheoperationalcostsofsubwaysystems.Variousstartingmodes,includingdirect-on-line(DOL)starting,star-delta(Y-△)starting,andvariablefrequencydrive(VFD)startingareevaluatedfromaneconomicperspective.Theanalysisconsidersfactorssuchasenergyconsumption,maintenancecosts,andthelifecyclecostsofthefans.Theresultsofthisanalysisprovidevaluableinsightsintoselectingthemostcost-effectivestartingmodeforsubwaysectionaljetfans,therebyhelpingsubwayoperatorsmakeinformeddecisions.
1.Introduction
Theefficientoperationofsubwaysystemsiscrucialtoensuresmoothtransportationforurbancommuters.Ventilationsystems,includingsectionaljetfans,playavitalroleinmaintainingairquality,regulatingtemperature,andremovingpollutantsfromsubwaytunnels.However,startingthesejetfansrequiresasignificantamountofelectricalenergy,resultinginhighenergyconsumptioncosts.Therefore,selectinganappropriatestartingmodethatminimizesenergyconsumptionisessentialforsubwayoperatorstoreduceoperationalcostsandenhanceoverallenergyefficiency.
