Firstly,goalshelpustostayfocusedonourtasksandactivities.Whenwehavecleargoalsinmind,wearelesslikelytogetdistractedbythingsthatarenotimportant.Instead,wecanprioritizeourtimeandenergytowardsthingsthatwillbringusclosertoourgoals.
Secondly,goalsgiveusmotivationandasenseofpurpose.Bysettinggoalsandworkingtowardsthem,wehavesomethingtolookforwardtoandstrivefor.Thisgivesusareasontokeepgoingevenwhenthingsgettough.Withoutgoals,wemightfindourselvesfeelinglostandlackingdirectioninlife.
