第一篇：米歇尔论教育(英文)米歇尔·奥巴马论教育（伦敦伊斯灵顿·伊丽莎白·安德森女校）Thisismyfirsttrip.Myfirstforeigntripasafirstlady.Canyoubelievethat?(Applause)AndwhilethisisnotmyfirstvisittotheU.K.,IhavetosaythatIamgladthisismyfirstofficialvisit.ThespecialrelationshipbetweentheUnitedStatesandtheU.K.isbasednotonlyontherelationshipbetweengovernments,butthecommonlanguageandthevaluesthatweshare.AndI'mremindedofthatbywatchingyoualltoday.DuringmyvisitI'vebeenespeciallyhonoredtomeetsomeofBritain'smostextraordinarywomen.Womenwhoarepavingthewayforallofyou.AndI'mhonoredtomeetyou,thefutureleadersofGreatBritainandthisworld.Andalthoughthecircumstancesofourlivesmayseemverydistant,withmestandinghereastheFirstLadyoftheUnitedStatesofAmerica,andyou,justgettingthroughschool.Iwantyoutoknowthatwehaveverymuchincommon.Fornothinginmylife'spathwouldhavepredictedthatI'dbestandinghereasthefirstAfrican-AmericanFirstLadyoftheUnitedStatesofAmerica.Thereisnothinginmystorythatwouldlandmehere.Iwasn'traisedwithwealthorresourcesoranysocialstandingtospeakof.IwasraisedontheSouthSideofChicago.That'stherealpartofChicago.AndIwastheproductofaworking-classcommunity.Myfatherwasacityworkerallofhislife.Andmymotherwasastay-at-homemom.Andshestayedathometotakecareofmeandmyolderbrother.Neitherofthemattendeduniversity.Mydadwasdiagnosedwithmultiplesclerosisintheprimeofhislife.Butevenasitgotharderforhimtowalkandgetdressedinthemorning--Isawhimstrugglemoreandmore--myfathernevercomplainedabouthisstruggle.Hewasgratefulforwhathehad.Hejustwokeupalittleearlierandworkedalittleharder.AndmybrotherandIwereraisedwithallthatyoureallyneed:love,strongvaluesandabeliefthatwithagoodeducationandawholelotofhardwork,thattherewasnothingthatwecouldnotdo.Iamanexampleofwhat'spossiblewhengirlsfromtheverybeginningoftheirlivesarelovedandnurturedbythepeoplearoundthem.Iwassurroundedbyextraordinarywomeninmylife.Grandmothers,teachers,aunts,cousins,neighbors,whotaughtmeaboutquietstrengthanddignity.Andmymother,themostimportantrolemodelinmylife,wholiveswithusattheWhiteHouseandh
