第一篇：翻译[大全]FREETRADEAGREEMENTBETWEENTHEGOVERNNMENTOFTHEREPUBLICOFKOREAANDTHEGOVERNMENTOFTHEREPUBLICOFSINGAPORETheGovernmentoftheRepublicofKorea(“Korea”)andtheGovernmentoftheRepublicofSingapore(“Singapore”),hereinafterreferredtoas“theParties”;Consciousoftheirbondsoflongstandingfriendshipandstrongtradeandinvestmentrelationship;RecallingtheestablishmentofaJointStudyGrouptoexaminethebenefitsofaFreeTradeAgreementbetweentheGovernmentoftheRepublicofKoreaandtheGovernmentoftheRepublicofSingapore(“Korea-SingaporeFTA”)inOctober2002;DesiringtoadopttherecommendationsintheJointStudyGroupReportthatthePartiesproceedtonegotiatetheKorea-SingaporeFTA,andthattheJointStudyGroupReportshouldserveasaframeworkfornegotiationsontheFTA;Reaffirmingtheircommitmenttosecuringtradeliberalisationandanoutward-lookingapproachtotradeandinvestment;Convincedthattheireconomicintegrationwouldgeneratelargereconomiesofscale,providegreaterworkopportunities,andenhancetransparencyforeconomicactivitiesfortheirbusinessesaswellasforotherbusinessesinAsia;SharingthebeliefthatafreetradeagreementbetweenthePartieswouldimprovetheirattractivenesstocapitalandhumanresources,andcreatelargerandnewmarkets,toexpandtradeandinvestmentnotonlybetweenthembutalsointheregion;AffirmingtheircommitmenttofosteringthedevelopmentofopenmarketeconomyinAsia,andtoencouragingeconomicintegrationofAsianeconomiesinordertofurthertheliberalisationoftradeandinvestmentintheregion;ReaffirmingthatthisAgreementshallcontributetotheexpansionanddevelopmentofworldtradeunderthemultilateraltradingsystemembodiedintheMarrakeshAgreementEstablishingtheWorldTradeOrganization(“theWTOAgreement”);BuildingontheirrespectiverightsandobligationsundertheWTOAgreementandothermultilateral,regionalandbilateralinstrumentsofco-operation;andResolvedtopromotereciprocaltradeandinvestment,andtoavoidcircumventionofbenefitsofregionaltradeintegration,throughtheestablishmentofclearandmutuallyadvantageoustraderules,andindustryaswellasregulatoryco-operation;HAVEAGREEDasfollows:CHAP
