第一篇：西柏坡英文导游词Xibaipo,anameechoingthegloryofChina'srevolutionaryhistory,isanordinary100-householdvillagelocatedinPingshancounty,HebeiProvince.InMay1947,theParty'sWorkingCommitteechosethislocationandinMay1948,undertheleadershipofComradeMaoTse-tung,theParty'sCentralCommitteeandtheheadquartersoftheChinesePeople'sLiberationArmymovedtothisvillage.ThismadeitthelastruralcommandcenterpriortothedecisivebattlesbetweentheCommunistPartyandtheKuomintang.Xibaipo'suniquecontributiontotherevolutionhasthusbestoweduponitanamethatshinesinthehistorybooksoftheChineserevolution,settingupahistoricalmonumentwitheternalglory.In1991ZhuMuzhi,whowasMinisteroftheInformationOfficeoftheStateCouncilthen,wrotethisinscriptionforXibaipo:“ThedestinyofChinawasdeterminedinthisvillage.”HisinscriptionspeakshighlyofXibaipo'shistoricalstatusinChina’srevolution.“NewChinasetofffromhere”isafamouscommentattributedtothewriterYanTaowhenhewrotealiteraryreportonXibaipo,entitled“NotesontheRoadtotheEast.”Thiscommentwasalsousedasasubtitleforthedocument,andisnowwidelyquotedasthebestsynopsisofXibaipo'shistoriccontribution.XibaipowasselectedtobethecommandcenterforboththeliberatingofChinaandtheplanningofNewChinaforvariousreasons.Notonlydiditsuniquegeographiclocationandnaturalsurroundingsbestsuitthispurpose,Xibaipoalsohaddevelopedintoastrongrevolutionarybaseovertheyearsandthereforestoodoutforitspoliticalpreeminence.XibaipoisasmallvillagelocatedonthenorthernbanksoftheHutuoRiverrunningthroughtheJiximountainousregion.Notonlydoesithavebeautifulscenery,butalsorichandfertilesoil.ThevillageislocatedinthemiddleofPingshancounty,atthecrossroadsbetweentheNorthChinaPlateauandTaihangMountain.Poisedinahorse-foot-shapedvalleyorientedtowardthesun,Xibaipoissurroundedbymountainsonitsthreesidesandbywaterononeside.Toitswest,itembracesthegatewaytoTaihangMountain,andtoitseast,itborderstheJizhongPlateau.Thevillageisonly90kmfromShijiazhuang,astrategicallyimportantcityintheNorthChinaregion.Xibaipoenjoysconvenienttransportationfacilitiesand
